Speaking of, does anyone know where the Mason-Dixon line is located? Maybe I have forgotten my U.S. geography, but I am not sure the practice of selecting the teams has been "geographically accurate" in the past.

mason dixon line was generally run along the top boarder of maryland into what was virginia, now west virginia.. sorta..
