Here is where Sam and I will be staying...


The campground is Patuxent Camp Sites. The sites have water and electric,
and showers are not far. Each site is $26 for 2 people. An additional
person on the site is $8. The lady seemed very nice, her name is Claire.

It's right on the Patuxet River. and it's beautiful.

Last year it was a lot of fun even though I didn't have a sleeping bag, a tent, a toothbrush, clean clothes, or a pillow. The area is really pretty and is only like 15 maybe 20 minutes from the field. I know I am in.....Kate who else is coming so far?

Roughing it with Kate and Sam- Now THAT sounds like a party!

We can stay up late, swapping manly stories, and in the morning, I'm making waffles!

Then I'm coming early for waffles!

So far it's Sam, Kate, Heather, I would assume Lacy.
Maybe Sean and Caren and Taylor(McKay) - I would guess it depends on if Sean makes it off the Wait-list.
I know Will Tayge had toyed with the idea. But I don't think he had the information about the site yet.
I think we should all camp..

I heard that campground is haunted.

camping is for you younguns...I'll be in aheated hotel complete with running hot water,and soft bed and a continental breakfast

I won't be making it, but it's a great place. I would strongly suggest ear plugs for sleeping. They have these really loud birds that howl all night long!

FYI, there's a new Hilton about 15 minutes down the road, just before Solomons Island. I'll try and find the number if anyone is interested.

Those were birds? I just thought it was Sam and Kate.........haha...........

He might be refering to the the Jet's that love to do "touch and goes" late into the night on some weekends.
I've been around them so long, I've toned them out.

Gunny, any lodging info. would help. It's been several years since I've been in the area. I recall a Holiday Inn.

Yes, there is a Holiday Inn about a 1/2 mile further down the road, past the new Hilton.
I'll dig up the numbers tomorrow and post them here.

The Dickens clan will be lodging in the Hilton Garden Inn there in the Solomons. Sophie will be available of pics, for those who want photograhic record of the cutest baby in the whole world. (for a small fee, of course )

By the way, did I mention that I heard the Patuxent campground is haunted??

So far.. Our campsite consists of Sam and I.. and Heather Mac.. (I'm guessing that lacy is coming with, but haven't heard from her yet).. Anyone else need to get in with us.. or are you all set on your own?..
Come on..last year we had some VERY friendly neighbors..
And I can say with certainty that the facilites are Very nice..

Hey Don..staying at the dry,warm,flushing toilet,cont.breakfast Spring Hill Suites in Prince Frderick on friday nite stop by maybe we can get some grub

Danny, I'm gonna frim up plans in a week or so, I'll keep you posted. Just not sure what time I'll be in the area.

I was going back and forth on the camping but I am staying at the Holiday inn express Prince Frederick on friday night. Gonna have to bolt home after the games. Should make for a great drive back . See ya'll in a couple of weeks.
