HGL Update: The HGL Women’s Morrigan Warrior Series Registration is now OPEN!
This series only open to the first TWELVE female athletes who register. Registration will close once all TWELVE spots have been filled. There are still six spots available.
The HGL Women’s Morrigan Warrior Series will be contested with a running tally. Each registered athlete has the opportunity to compete in all eight games on the series calendar. Based on the athlete’s overall placing in each competition, they will be awarded points. After the final game is contested at the Central Virginia Highland Games on October 24-25th, 2015, the points will be totaled and final placements will be announced.
By creating the HGL Women’s Morrigan Series for the Women’s Class, the Highland Games League envisions a highly competitive environment which also fosters camaraderie, sportsmanship and recognition of individual achievement. Athletes score points for first, second, and third places only. At the end of the series the competitor with the most points will win the series. You do not have to commit to each game. The series will reward the top 3 women’s athletes. The final game will be contested at Central Virginia Scottish Games in Richmond, VA.
