SO MD info for MASA Staff and athletes

Postby Malcolm Doying on Thu Apr 24, 2008 10:21 pm

All MASA Staff use the second main Park Entrance. There will be an envelope with a ticket and a parking pass for each of the MASA Staff listed here. The athletic field is on the other side of the road this year. It is a nice LARGE field. There will be shuttle carts running from the farther parking areas to the field area. The only trucks allowed to park at the field are the ones carrying the games equipment. Please arrive early with the equipment so we can start promptly at 9:00 with the weather forecast calling for rain in the afternoon. Athletes please arrive early to help with setup.

Thanks for all your help!!!

Malcom, its been a while since I have been to So. Md. so pardon the question, but are we to use the same gate? Are the athletes on a list as well? Sorry for the fuzzy memory but its comon in the Masters division.

If the first Gate, general admission, is open when you get there use that one. If not use the second one. This year the athletes have to pay for the admission ticket but there is no additional registration fee. There should be some shuttle carts running to help get your gear to the field from the parking area.

Thanks Malcom, the fog is lifting. Are tents ok to bring as well?

Yes, there will be plenty of room for tents. Let's hope we just need them for the sun and not the wet stuff.
