Bridgeport, after games

Postby Gunny on Mon Apr 28, 2008 4:29 pm

This will be my first trip to B-Port. What else goes on there?
The wife and I are planning on staying through till Sunday morning, so we don't have to drive 5 hours back tired.
Anything going on after the games?
Anyone else staying till Sunday?

I will be there until Sunday. Last year there was a great concert Sat night at the High School.

I'll be there until I crawl out of bed Sunday and go hunt for fuud before driving back to DC. We should all do breakfast er something? Tey gots a Bob Evans pretty much down the strip from the hotels that serves a darn good breakfast. But ye local boys out there might even be able to suggest something more scrumpulalicious!

Bob Evan's are generally pretty consistent. Tudor's have wild swings in quality from store to store.

I was going to head back Saturday night, but you all are making a compelling case! If I can add a day to my hotel stay it would be great to join you at Bob Evans. (Might have to get a couple biscuits for the ride home though; they sound great.)

My favorite Tudor's biscuit use to be the Peppy...mounds of huge pepperoni slices and runny cheese on a ginormous biscuit. It's a killer!

We are staying through Sunday morning, so we'd love to join in a good hearty breakfast to make us fall asleep on the drive home.

Yep, It's way too pretty a drive to do it tired in the dark. Not to mention that it's a darn long way. So Sunday it is and where ever there is food is good by me.

Total Awesomeness!! A family that competes and eats together!!! Off course, Bob Evans may not know what hit them!! I wonder if they do reservations for Clans greater than 15?
