Quick Question

Postby Aaron on Sun May 04, 2008 6:41 pm

I have seen on the board a link to how boot spikes are made (can't find the link now)...does anyone have that link, or any suggestions on "how-to" on the boot spikes...looking for length of the spike and size of the metal used.

Also does anyone have the sizes for the sheaf...I know the weight is 16#...looking for lengthXwidth ..in process of making a sheaf and want it as close to "offical" as I can get it...

Thanks
Aaron

Hammer blades:

http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/8682/heavy/equip.htm#hammers for instructions. Or try http://www.ryanvierrausa.com/documents/136.html or http://www.brockthrow.com/documents/products.html if you'd rather buy them.

There are no official dimensions for a sheaf, just a minimum weight of 16 pounds (or 20 in most of the country, but not here).
