Question on Anne Arundel

Postby chirolifter on Sun Sep 21, 2008 8:08 pm

How does the festival itself compare to S. MD? I have some folks inquiring.

Thanks,
Gene

I think smaller as far as the festival itself, but Malcolm and Pat can probably answer that better.

They have a new website, and apparently didn't bother to put pointers to it on their old URLs ...

Would you believe that the ________ that used to do the web site for us will not allow us to do that or purchase the rights to the old web site. If anyone knows of a way around that, let me know and I'll pass it on to the new web person.

Legally, you can't. The domain is owned by someone else and only they can make the change. Legally.

The following link gives the name of the admin as Bruce MacDonald. That is the person you need to contact.

If you want the domain name, Network Solutions does allow you to make anonymous bids for a domain.
The domain name was renewed in June and will expire in June 2009.

What is interesting is that the domain is actually owner by 1and1.com which is a web hosting provider. Chances are if you want the domain name you would have to talk to 1and1.com.

Of course, you can wait till June 2009 and if the domain is not renewed, you can buy it.

Have fun!
