315x5 ain't bad at all.
and anyone who can snatch 275 has PLENTY of strength and power to throw as far as anyone out there. sheesh

If Baab and Shawn Baker are at SA again, that will make for a pretty awesome masters showdown.

Hi Gene,

I was wondering if you have any plans in the near future to hold a seminar at your facility on some of the explosive Olympic lifts? I hope to attend some of the games during the 2011 season and believe that this type of lifting in the off season can help in the events.

Many thanks

Mike, Im in the middle of a conditioning cycle while doing a mini strength cycle. Wasnt neccessarily doing a max, I just going with how I felt. I was only going to do 500, but that felt really light . Im 3 weeks into my cond. cycle. I'll run that for another 6wks. The strength cycles only last 3-4 wks for me. Of course its all dependent on how I feel/recovery.
Right now its 3 days/wk. I'll pick up another day of conditioning/throwing here soon.
Ryan always tells me speed is useless without position, now I can say strength is usless without position!!! Flexibility is key to throwing far....

Sam Grammer and Mark kimener came down for some training.
Sat. we did snatches, hang power clean + jerk, and hang pulls.
I hit 270 snatch, Sam and Mark hit 319 in cleans...

Sun. me and Sam front squated, I went up to 396 for an easy single. Then one leg squats, glute ham raise and chain drag...

Ive been cooked since., altough I hit some beach training last night, just conditioning and flexiblity stuff.
Tomm. light BB shit...
