Richmond Crew...

It's almost time to set up the field. I hope that all of you have had a great off-season and enjoyed this wonderful weather. Just a couple of things before we set out to start regular training: Our host needs our help in moving/cleaning up some left-over wood (moving it to one of the barns if I remember correctly), and also helping clean up the small barn (where we keep the implements). There may be one or two other items that have not been discussed at this point, but she really needs our help before we start practicing. I'm hoping to set a weekend (Saturday) within the next 2 or 3 week to get this done. I will be meeting with her this week to further discuss this. I will post this when I find out. Second: Not sure of what a regular training schedule may be so are there any ideas? Thanks everyone! See all of you soon.

Tues, Thurs, Sat sounds good, if I don't take Gunny's training advice -
That's why I recomend you sit on the sofa and limit yourself to 12oz curles, channel changers, and ab scratches 5 nights a week

But those 12 oz. curls are a little much, might back it down to 6 or 8 - don't want to get too bulky...

Those days sound good. As far as helping out at the barn, I spoke to Coleen and we came up with 3/26 (last Saturday of March), let's say we meet at 10am? It is very possible that there may be 2 other days she will need help as well. See you all very soon.

last saturday of march is 3/27. That day is fine with me. I swiped a few implements a couple months ago and have been throwing in the backyard a bit.

Thanks, Dave!

Right now the fridge is out of commission - doing a major revamp in the barn - but it will be up and running as soon as it can be moved to its new location. But go ahead and bring the stuff out and I'll store it until things get sorted out. See ya tomorrow - bring some work gloves...

we can stick it in the stall we are using, it will be sorta cool that way, I won't be bringing work gloves, i have plenty of callus accumulated and gloves just make my hands sweaty. :)

LOL - We will be moving a bunch of wood, so outside of splinters you are good to go...

Also, lunch will be provided - nothing fancy, just hotdogs and fixings!

Go ahead and bring some chow/snacks, etc. - I will probably bring some fruit, brownies to go around... thanks, guys!

Worked on stone, HWFD, and Heavy Hammer today. I was only there for an hour, but it was pretty much throwing or shagging the whole time so i'm beat. Not real pleased with distances, but i am starting to feel like my technique is coming along. Looking forward to getting some serious drills in before SoMD.

Depending on what time I finish with my appointments tonight, I may or may not be out to practice. Sorry for the late notice.

Because of work, I will not be out this evening or Saturday (I have meetings starting at 8am running through mid afternoon)... I'm trying to re-establish my schedule to allow Tuesday and Thursday evenings, so until then, I'm trying to practice when I can, which looks like what few hours during the day... Saturdays are pretty much unaffected (with the exception of an occasional early client). I'm hoping to have everything back to normal in the next couple of weeks.

I figured I'd re-post in a location more suitable for the Richmond area guys. The Gayton Kirk Demo is coming up Sat. Sept 11. Same as last year, 2 quick shows and a free lunch in between. About 1 mile up the road from my shop, so I'll gladly up the bribe with free gelato. Let me know if you are interested. Please help, it is lame having to do it alone (like so many other things I can think of). E-mail - delucagelato@gmail.com
