Would like to team up with a few folks to train for the Virginia Scottish Highland Games in early September and learn the basic techniques. I live in Burke, Virginia and can travel to meet up with people to train. I have no previous experience, but have a powerlifting background. Look forward to training.

i have no idea where burke is but i live in front royal and have a small gym w/a good amount of equipment and i have all the implements to train with.i have 2 other guys that train with me and my daughter too.we are in the process of recruiting some kids in the area and we are putting together a strongman competition in the near future. my # is 540-660-2229...

Chris B., you are not too far from the home of the VMC (Virginia Meathead Crew). Not sure of the frequency of practicing these days due to life and competitions. They will post when they are having practices on this message board. Welcome.
