I ended up spending the day in Georgetown instead, with a very few hammer throws in the evening. Hoping for more next weekend. . .

Mikey D and I got a little practice in on Saturday; the weather was great for throwing. Only 2 more practice weekends 'till S MD.

Is anyone intersted in practicing on Wednesday evenings, from 5:30pm to 6:30/7pm? I have a lot of down time to make up for, a lot of rust to knock off and a lot of conditioning to do.

I'll be at Bryan's house on Wednesdays around 5:30pm for sheaf and WOB practice, then down to the field for stone, weights and hammer if anyone wants to get a mid-week practice in with an old geezer.

I am dying to get out there and throw. I threw on my own the last couple of weekends (hammer & WFD) and everything is down 5-10 feet. With only 2 more weekends until the Games count me in for sure on Sunday! Anyone spoken to Bryan lately?

Ugh...sorry Frank this weekend I have soccer and a b-day party with my 6 year old son; both on Saturday. Anyone up for a little earlier on Sunday morning to avoid the heat, say 9:00am...? I don't mean to be a pain but if it worked on Sunday I would greatly appreciate it!

I texted Bryan, and if he's in on Sunday we'll both be there. I need to practice all of the events, so if Bryan can't make it on Sunday maybe I'll hit both days.

I have no predisposition to 9:00am I just thought you wre trying to avoid the heat. If you are looking to throw at 10:00am that works great for me as well. Should just make it offical then; 10:00am on Sunday at Bryan's house?
