Richmond Throwers

It is that time of year again...
Allison, when can we start? Southern MD is coming up and we need to knock some rust off. My plan this year is to drill at home with Dev during the week and come out on Saturday to throw.

Look forward to throwing with everyone again. Long winter of lifting and throwing on my own. How all is well and Happy New year!

Hello All,

My name is Bill and I am new to the forum.

I am interested in learning the heavy events.

I live in the Varina area, Rt 5 and 295.

I am not sure my strength is where it needs to be for this, but would like to learn the techniques and align my weight trainig as needed.

Thanks to anyone willing to help get me started, or just point me in the right direction.

Bill

Bill,
Unfortunately I'm not throwing in the Richmond area anymore. My wife and I have just been training in our back yard as our schedules permit. anyone still throwing in the richmond area? You are welcome to join us on Saturday mornings (though Cumberland may be a bit of a hike for you). We start back up next weekend.

Thanks for the reply.

It may be worth the ride for me to get an understanding of what it will take to get up to speed.

I will stay in touch. If my schedule permitts, I would like to come up and meet you all.
