I want to build push press boxes ( a place to rest the weight and let it fall after the lift ) That should put the bar at starting squat height. I could make them out of wood or steel, just wanna make sure they are strong enough to drop 200-300lbs on. Have any of you built these before? I am a little concerned about the strength of the top. Thanks
