been really busy...

but i celebrated Thor's Day last week with another improvement in tech.

focused on looooong swing. never quite felt right...so this time i tried, on purpose, to make the biggest possible orbit with the hammer. i "pushed" the hammer outwards all the way 'round....wow!! felt like the hammer made a 30'-wide circle!

now for the speed. as Tim "RtH" Ross says, "Speed kills!"

leg press today...it's been a while...felt great!!

high pulls tomorrow.

My hammer winds have been feeling waaay off too. Randy King you must have given me bad mojo. It is all your fault.
Trish: Colin go get your bike and put it away!

Colin: Okay but someone is going to swoop down, stop, take a picture and sell it on the internet.

hehehe...sorry B, maybe you didn't pay this year's homage to the hammer god!

i'm comin out of a 2- or 3-year hammer slump. lack of practice. lack of technical improvement.

slump shall pass. one small tweak at a time, and my hammer confidence is returning.

Bryan, i'm shakin some positive mojo to vienna! just remember: you taught me hammer. thou shalt not slump.

Monster Malutich and Davis Power should have been telling me exactly that.
