New Throwers in the northern virginia

I would like to gauge interest in any new throwers having a few saturday morning sessions at 10 am to get introduced to the games. Practice will be only about 3 hours long and I will focus on the fundamentals of throwing, technique, drills, and of course throwing.

I am going to continue having the Sunday morning training for the more experienced athletes and any new throwers are welcome to join us at the VMC (Vienna Meathead Crew) training at 10AM on Sundays.

Please respond to this post and let me know if you are interested. Address is 8500 Stonewall Dr, Vienna, VA. 22180

I would be very interested. Just joined this forum, just signed up for the games in Richmond-women's division (don't know if I'll be picked to participate or not). I'm definitely a newbie but have been encouraged by other throwers to get out there and give it a go! I've been looking for someone in the area to give me some pointers. I'm also in Vienna. Don't know if you intended your session for just men, but I'd welcome the opportunity to learn! I'm a quick study and definitely enthusiastic!

I am new to the forum and I would like to begin attending, new to throwing and events but my goal is to compete in 2014. I am very excited to learn and begin training. Please message me with any details and if any attire aside from normal gym wear is required. Thanks so much in advance and look forward to learning.

Bryan and I have met the last two Saturdays - so yes, it happens. However, the call is for rain from now (Wed) through Saturday so the field may be too muddy. Bryan may be able to weigh in on conditions by Friday.

Does one year under my belt still count as "new"?
