Hey Chris, can you do me a favor? Can you check the price for a 100 lb dumbbell at the YORK outlet store? Trying to find one on the cheap ;)

Maybe we can do that trip to the outlet we were bouncing around last year.

Peace, E-Dubya

$35 for a 100lb. They're the black no frills (not the gray). The black plates are also 35 cents/lb. They have handles (big ones have 2)...see attached. C'mon up!

35 cents a pound X 100 = 35 bucks... so that seems right, but damn cheap!

Man, 300 pounds of plates for under $100 at those rates...

Yes Chris, we are going to have to make a road trip. Tim, what do you have going on next weekend? Chris, next weekend open?

By the by, Play-it-again Sports sells all 'used' plates & db's for 35 cents/ pound too. Sometimes less if you buy a full set. I just picked up another olympic set (looks like new) for $85.

They have kettlebells, but I don't like em (even if they are like $1.50/lb) b/c they're all the same size and have the straight up handles. They are smooth though.

They have the warehouse next door, and they've always had any weight I was looking for, but here's the # 717-767-6481 or 800-358-9675 (Ext. 226) Michael Locondro.

thanks!
I keep meaning to go over to the strength museum. Plus there's a pipe store right by York that I like. I have to get over there this spring.

Ya, the museum has some interesting little tid bits, although, I'd like to see them add some more stuff.
