I'm in WV...but just barely. I'm in Bunker Hill, about 2 miles from the Virginia border (about 15 minutes north of Winchester, VA off of I-81) but you are welcome to come train any time!

Mike,
How far are you from either Tazewell, VA or Wytheville VA area?

You go north on I-81 all the way through VA until you hit the Eastern Panhandle of WV. 5 hours from Tazewell and 4 hours from Wytheville.

Thanks Mike, that's a little far to drive for practice. I was hoping you were closer, get a little lonely practicing by myself on the farm. The dogs haven't really gotten a handle on retrieving the 56 or the 28 yet.

There are hills everywhere there. Find a steep one and throw the weights up. They'll roll back down to your trig. :D

Thanks Gunny, I hadn't thought of that. The back of my property does go up to 3200 feet and I might hit a coyote or two in the process. I'll give it a shot this weekend, of course, the cabor might be a challenge.

what a coincidence! I'm a little under an hour away from Bunker Hill! And I live on Bunker Hill Road! Can you believe that? We should get together and throw sometime!

I'll be throwing tomorrow at about 5:00 if you want to swing by. The convenience of walking into my back yard to throw means that I never schedule it...I just walk out back when I get stuff done and need a break.

I'd love to, but I've got to be back at Middletown at 6.

Newbie thrower here in Morgantown, WV. There's maybe 4 or 5 of us here interested, but none experienced. If there's anybody close by, that'd be fantastic. I'm looking for some pointers or any kind of help, really. Thanks, guys. Hope to hear from you soon!

For those in Morgantown, Bridgeport or anywhere else for that matter. Send me a PM about your interest and I will set up a Highland Throws CLinic to acommodate. We can do it this fall or very early next spring. Charge would be nominal and we could arrange to have an eat fest afterward!
Blessings,
Crush
