Our phone is out

Due to a construction snafu in the basement, our fios landline was knocked out. If the electrician can fix it next week when he remounts our electrical panel, great. If not, I just signed up for the line maintenance program, but need to wait a month before I phone in a repair. So, it may be a month without a landline.
