I've got Lupus

Hey gang, just wanted everyone to know that I was diagnosed with cutaneous Lupus in December. Thankfully, it is not systemic Lupus with which you may be more familiar. The cutaneous version causes my skin to be mottled and thin. it is most noticeabloe on my forearms. The dermatologist warns me to stay out of the sun from 10am - 3pm and when I do go out, to be slathered with SPF 80.

So, you will see me covering up like a bedouin at the games this summer. I'll be hiding from the sun like a vampire.

sorry to hear that, however i will be right there with ya on the 80spf... only way i can keep from looking like a dried up chili pepper lol
