New WOB pit

A new WOB pit is under construction in our side yard. We've got it mulched and bordered by a motley assortment of landscaping ties and 4 X 4's. We need to buy more 4 X 4's and secure it all to the ground with rebar, but it's usable as it is. Now I wont have lots of divets in the yard impeding rain drainage.

Dave Mckenzie (Himself) dropped by practice last week, and when he saw that we were using a PVC pipe as a crossbar, which was easily damaged and caused damage to the rest of the rig when hit, he recommended we use a whip. Great idea!

I went out and bought one of those bicycle flags you see on kid's bikes-- basically a 6-foot fiberglass whip-- for $9. Take the flag off, and voila-- flexible wob crossbar! Hopefully it can take a beating. Of course I left it in the friggin garage today, but maybe on Saturday I'll bring it by Casa de McClain.

Now we just need to rebuild McDickens' wob rig and we'll be completely good to go. 8-)
