Grandpa Gunny?

Postby Gunny on Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:53 pm

How many Grandpa's, or Grandmothers do we have throwing here?
I just found out, I'll be a Grandpa by late June, early July of next year.

My daughter Cassie and her husband Bryan (He's been throwing with us for the past 3 months) have done lost there minds completely though. While I was thinking a Braveheart theme'd baby's room, complete with Claymores and Tartans, they've deceided on a New York Yankee's (throwing up smiley) theme.

Anyway's, I'm excited, I think?????

I've got a grandaughter coming in Dec.

Her birthday present is going to be a pink discus.

Thanks everyone!
We're very excited here. Although my savings for next years games isn't looking good. It's being spent on baby items. :D
Right now, the doctors are saying June 28, so I'm (not very) patiently awaiting next years schedule to see what games I may be missing. Also to see what may be his or her first Highland games.

My granddaughter is the ONLY one who can get away with calling Pop-pop's kilt a skirt! 8-)

Hey Gunny, Congratulations. Sorry I'm so late. I don't get on the boards much.

Don't let the baby suck up your retirement savings. I've always bought kid gear second-hand and scrubbed it with bleach. I still get most of my and my kids' clothes at a big thrift store near hear. Craigslist is another godsend.

Retirement savings? The stock market is taking care of that for me.
I'm more worried about next years throwing funds.
