T-Shirts

Postby Gunny on Fri May 01, 2009 10:04 am

BJ, have you recovered yet, from last years VSG T-Shirt deal?
I have another idea, if there's enough interest.

M.A.S.A. tour shirts.
Use the small M.A.S.A. logo on front pocket area.
On the back put:
Mid Atlantic Scottich Athletics
2009 tour
events, location, dates, listed like a band tour.

Possibly even sell them at the events.

Thoughts anyone???

Discussed this with Mac, and he had no problems with the shirt idea.
Besides being a cool shirt to have, it could help promote the games.
Could even be sold to spectators at the games?????
Also, it was even mentioned at Bridgeport, to add the Masters World Championship to the tour, since we will be well represented.

If nobody else wants to take the reins on this, I know someone with a t-shirt / embroidry shop, and can look into prices.

For the Back, a washed out Scottish flag background with this years schedule over top.
And this logo on the front pocket area.

I went by the shirt shop today.
Prices to silk screen two sides, two colors (Blue and Black) on a white shirt will be around $10 per shirt. That's if we get 30-50 shirts.
Three colors (Blue, Black and White) on a Gray or other colored shirt, around $13.
These are nice 6 oz t-shirts, like we usually get at the games.
Might even try and get some sleeveless shirts.

What I need is a list of who, how many, and sizes.
Also need the original art work for the M.A.S.A. logo.

This is the plan for the back, about 12" wide.

Should I add the MWC?
Any other ideas?

That is a great shirt idea. I'd buy 2 or 3 if you end up having them made.

2 L and 2 XL (for friends and family) with the same in sleeveless if you decide to go that route too. I'll wear one to Inverness and Edinburgh for sure. :D

I'm cool with adding the MWC and color shirts would be nice.

Pretty sure we'll just go with Gray and have both sleeved and sleeveless. I just checked the price of the sleeveless shirt, and it's the same. The price will be $11 for size S-XL. $12.50 for XXL.

Yes it would, and they will be next year. I'm a late bloomer.
I'll give the pre-orders another few day's, then go to the shirt shop.

Sorry, but MWC will not be added to the back's, since it is not a MASA sanctioned event.

I turned in the art work today for the screens to be made, and will need to turn in the shirt orders by the end of this week, for any hope of having them by McHenry.
So, if your thinking of getting one of these, put your orders in now.
For those that have asked, I'll collect $$ when you get your shirts.
If we do this next year, I'll start earlier!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I need one XXL and one XXL sleeveless. Are you definitely going with gray? It will hold up much better than white.

Just for the reference of the printer - for the background image on the back - the official blue adopted by the Scottish Parliament several years ago is Pantone 300. This is what I used for the logo.
